Well, this weekend is Christmas. Saturday (tomorrow) is Christmas Eve, and Sunday is Christmas Day. Maybe your small business has already closed for Christmas, but here at Liberty Legal Solutions, LLC, we're still hard at work, building, protecting, and defending the business and personal interests of our clients in Oklahoma. It's become a Christmas tradition here in the Freedom Friday blog and email newsletter to take a moment and wish you all our Christmas greetings and a Merry Christmas!
2022 has been an amazing year for Liberty Legal Solutions, LLC; a year of growth and more importantly change. The biggest change that happened this year is we relocated from Edmond to Tulsa. We still represent clients statewide, including the Oklahoma City metro area, and even outside the State of Oklahoma, but we have added many Tulsa area clients since we moved to the Tulsa area in May. As a result, the firm has experienced tremendous growth, and that trend is expected to continue into 2023. On behalf of Liberty Legal Solutions, LLC, I want to wish you a very Merry Christmas, and take a moment to celebrate Christmas.
Over three years ago when I started Liberty Legal Solutions, LLC, I gave the firm a mission statement, which was to provide legal services to small businesses across Oklahoma so that our clients will seize opportunities in the free market, take individual initiative, and find financial freedom. While many of those ideas are still our core values, we have expanded our mission to help both individuals and small businesses build, protect, and defend their business and personal interests here in Oklahoma. We cannot accomplish this (nor can our clients) without understanding the true meaning of Christmas.
The Bible tells us the Christmas story in the Gospel of Luke, 2:1-14, “And it came to pass in those days that a decree went out from Caesar Augustus that all the world should be registered. This census first took place while Quirinius was governing Syria. So all went to be registered, everyone to his own city. Joseph also went up from Galiliee, out of the city of Nazareth, into Judea, to the city of David, which is called Bethlehem, because he was out of the house and lineage of David, to be registered with Mary, his betrothed wife who was with child. So it was, that while they were there, the days were completed for her to be delivered. And she brought forth her firstborn Son, and wrapped him in swaddling cloths, and laid Him in a manger, because there was no room for them in the inn. Now there were in the same country shepherds living out in the fields, keeping watch over their flock by night. And behold, an angel of the Lord stood before them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were greatly afraid. Then the angel said to them, ‘Do not be afraid, for behold I bring you good tidings of great joy which will be to all people. For there is born to you this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord. And this will be the sign to you: You will find a Babe wrapped in swaddling cloths, lying in a manger.' And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God and saying: ‘Glory to God in the highest, And on earth peace, goodwill toward men!'”
The true meaning of Christmas is that Jesus came as the Christ (or the Messiah), the Savior and Lord, and if we accept Him into our hearts, we can truly experience the peace and goodwill that God has for us. The bumper sticker is true: No Jesus, no peace; know Jesus, know peace. Building, protecting, and defending our client's business and personal interests means absolutely nothing without Jesus being the center of our lives. Not just in my life as the principal attorney at Liberty Legal Solutions, but more so in the lives of our clients. Many of the clients who I have helped this year have shared with me that I have been a blessing in their life during a time of turmoil or difficulty. This continues to be a testimony of what God is doing in the lives of many of our clients at Liberty Legal Solutions, LLC, who truly need peace in the midst of their many storms, either personally, or in their business, or both.
On behalf of Liberty Legal Solutions, LLC, I want to wish you and your family a very Merry Christmas!
